The firm is led by a seasoned building official who understands construction from the ground up.

A graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction and Mining Technology, he began his career working in construction before moving into public service. That hands-on background shaped the way he approaches code enforcement — practical, informed, and grounded in how projects actually get built.

He later joined the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction as a Plan Reviewer, gaining deep experience in technical code analysis and regulatory interpretation.

The majority of his career was spent with Planning and Development Services of Kenton County, Kentucky, where he served for 25 years. He retired as Chief Building Official, leading building code administration, inspections, plan review, and regulatory compliance for one of Northern Kentucky’s most active development communities.

Over the course of his career, he worked closely with contractors, developers, design professionals, elected officials, and municipal staff — balancing public safety, development progress, and practical application of the code.
